ONGOING SALE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to section 75.69, Wis. Stats., tax-delinquent real estate acquired by Dunn County through foreclosure is being offered for sale. These properties have already been offered through a sealed bid sale and were not purchased. A deposit of $50 or 10% of bid, whichever is greater, by cashier’s check or money order payable to “Dunn County” must accompany all bids. No personal checks will be accepted. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Bids must be submitted on bid forms available in the Corporation Counsel Office and on the Dunn County website. All bidders must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Dunn County does not provide a survey. Acreage listed, in most cases, is approximate. Dunn County does not warrant title and all conveyances are by quit claim deed. All property is sold “AS IS.” Some properties may have additional conditions of purchase. Property is sold exclusive of and subject to special assessments levied or in the process of being levied. Bidders are solely responsible for any investigation and/or research to determine any defects in title or property prior to bidding, and determining any special assessments by contacting the appropriate municipal clerk. Title to the property remains vested with Dunn County until full payment is made and a quit claim deed is issued. Purchaser is responsible for paying any recording and transfer fees involved in the transaction. Bids may be submitted at any time to the Office of the Corporation Counsel, Dunn County Government Center, 3001 US Hwy 12 E., Ste. 263, Menomonie, WI 54751. Due to the building being closed (except by appointment) please mail or drop off bids in the Government Center Drop Box outside the main doors. The envelope must clearly indicate it is for the “CORPORATION COUNSEL OFFICE” Bids will be reviewed and awarded by the Dunn County Planning, Resources and Development Committee as they are received. The County reserves the right at any time to withdraw any parcel(s) from the sale without advance notice up to the time of the sale.
